Microsoft Teams is an online hub for communication and collaboration, particularly suited to remote working. You can communicate with groups and individual Team members, holding online video or audio meetings and by text-based chats, as well as storing and sharing documents for collaborative working.
In the school environment, and particularly whilst students and staff are forced to stay at home, it can be used in many different ways including:
- Improve and maintain staff communication - with group chat, shared files and audio/video meetings all in one place.
- Be used to create, assign, collect, and give feedback on assignments, sharing a range of documents and files.
- Create collaborative classrooms, and hold live lessons and discussions with students using tools including screen sharing and video conferencing.
