This year, we’re innovating to make RM Unify smarter and more resilient.

• Emoji login: Giving younger students an alternative way to login where password complexity requirements are problematic.
• Teams Provisioning: Greater flexibility for those who don’t want to manage the rollout/creation of Teams on a per-teacher basis, particularly at the start of the new academic year.
• Archive Google Classes: The ability to archive the previous year’s Microsoft or Google Groups/Classes/Teams to reduce manual archiving/deleting and allow a fresh start each academic year.
• New ‘How-videos’: Short, bite-sized user videos will show you exactly how to navigate RM Unify and how to get the most out of it without needing to read through lengthy manuals.
• Unified Device Management: Continued integration with CC5 will soon extend beyond Windows and Intune go include dedicated ChromeOS and iOS device management, all managed through your RM Unify identity.

Our recent updates focus on automation and granular control

• Expanded MIS integration: RM Unify now supports a broader range of MIS providers, including Arbor MAT MIS, GO4schools, and Compass. This ensures seamless, automated user provisioning across your entire Trust, regardless of which MIS your individual schools use.
• Enhanced security protocols: We’ve strengthened our cloud identity management. When an account is disabled in RM Unify, an explicit request is now sent to Microsoft 365 to block sign-in immediately, ensuring that access to sensitive data is revoked within minutes.
• Granular admin control: Admins can now be assigned to the ‘other’ role, given them their own dedicated Launch Pads and group membership in Google Workspace or M365 without needing to be categorised as teaching or non-teaching staff.
• Google Groups provisioning:We’ve supercharged our integration with Google Workspace. RM Unify now automatically creates and manages Google Groups based on your MIS data which means no more manual mailing list updates or missing students in classroom groups.
• Parental engagement tools:We’ve introduced the Teams Assignments weekly digest, allowing schools to push automated updates to parents via the platform, bridging the gap between the classroom and home.
